Meet the Cast: Will McGarrahan

We’re pleased to introduce you to the actors in our New England Premiere production of BIG FISH.  The play tells the story of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman known for his tall tales and charismatic personality. When his adult son Will discovers he is about to become a father, he sets out to discover the truth behind his father’s larger-than-life adventures.

SpeakEasy favorite Will McGarrahan returns as the mysterious Amos Calloway. Read below to find out more.

Albany, NY.

Have you worked with SpeakEasy prior?

Yes, since 1999.

Could you tell us a bit about the role you are playing?

Amos Calloway is the owner of a traveling circus where Edward Bloom works in his youth.  Amos believes in the power of keeping secrets and harbors one of his own.

What are you looking forward to in this process?

I’m excited that Speakeasy is working with the writers of BIG FISH to find a smaller way of telling this story, which is both larger than life and intimate.
