(Company One); The Color Purple (Umbrella Arts Center); Dance Nation (Apollinaire Theatre); and Dream Love Escape (The Ridiculous Project). Other recent credits include choreographing In the Heights (Firehouse Center for the Arts) and assistant directing A Wrinkle in Time (Wheelock Family Theatre). In 2023, Schanaya received the Elliot Norton Award for Outstanding Featured Performance for her work in Can I Touch It?.
