Michael Appell

Board of Directors

Michael Appell joined the SpeakEasy Board of Advisors (BOA) in 2012 and became Chair in 2017. He serves as the ex-officio representative for the BOA on the SpeakEasy Board. Michael is a faculty member and the Assistant Director in the Social Impact MBA Program at the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University. He lives in Newton with his husband, Guy, also an avid theater-goer.
