Jeffery Petersen

Jeffrey Petersen (he/him) is a scenic designer, production manager, and theatre maker based in New England. A Minnesota transplant with a slowly fading Midwestern accent, Jeffrey has worked throughout the region for a wide range of professional theatre and opera companies, including SpeakEasy Stage Company, Huntington Theatre Company, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company, Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, Gloucester Stage Company, Greater Boston Stage Company, White Snake Projects, Odyssey Opera, Boston Midsummer Opera, OperaHub, Front Porch Arts Collective, and the Hanover Theatre, among others.

In addition to his design work, Jeffrey previously served as Technical Director and Production Manager for Boston Playwrights’ Theatre, where he supported the development and production of new plays and emerging theatrical voices. He currently serves as Production Manager for SpeakEasy Stage Company, overseeing the realization of the company’s productions from first rehearsal through closing night.

Jeffrey holds an MFA in Scenic Design from Boston University School of Theatre and a BFA from the University of Minnesota. He is a proud member of United Scenic Artists Local USA 829.
