Angela Yarde

Angela S. Yarde has over 15 years of invaluable experience in municipal government. She previously held the esteemed position of District 7 Office Director for Councilor Chuck Turner and currently serves as a senior advisor to Boston City Councilor Brian Worrell. Furthermore, she is a skilled psychotherapist with a focus on providing professional counseling to individuals, couples, and families. Angela is a highly experienced professional in the fields of political campaigns and non-profit fundraising. Her noteworthy accomplishments in these areas include identifying and cultivating corporate and private sponsors and planning high-end fundraising events. Angela holds a Master of Social Work degree from Boston University, where she was recognized with the Alumni Dedicated Service award. As a distinguished Menino Scholar, she graduated from the Sawyer Business School at Suffolk University with an MPA. Angela is a member of several noteworthy organizations, including the Greater Boston Association of Black Social Workers and the Speakeasy Performing Arts Theater Board. She was nominated to serve as the President of the Boston University School of Social Work Alumni Board and is a member of the Roxbury Main Streets Board of Directors, Emeritus.
