Community & Artistic Programs Manager

Alex Lonati (she/her) is a Boston based director, producer, and arts administrator. She has been a member of SpeakEasy’s staff in a variety of positions since 2014. In her work as Community & Artistic Programs Manager, she focuses primarily on accessibility, artist relations, season selection, casting, community outreach and partnerships, access to the arts, and equity and inclusion. Alex has directed throughout the city, including at SpeakEasy, Brown Box Theatre Project, Fresh Ink’s Mad Dash, and the Boston Theatre Marathon. She is also the President of the Theatre Community Benevolent Fund (TCBF), which provides emergency relief to artists in times of crisis. Alex holds a MS in Arts Administration from Boston University and a BA in Theatre Studies: Directing from Emerson College, where she hosted Standing Room Only on 88.9 WERS for four years.
