Join us for a post-show discussion with John Southard and his wife Jean.
John Southard is a world- renowned and respected geologist and professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an open cross-dresser. He was featured in the film A Chance To Dress which follows his challenges and difficulties in coming out to his friends, neighbors, and colleagues, and also his exuberance and sense of liberation after a lifetime of secrecy. Southard’s journey weaved a story that intersects gender presentation, acceptance, the immutability of established institutions, and the ultimate affirmation of the human spirit.
This event is FREE to anyone with a ticket to the Sunday, November 22 performance.
