Marie Longo

Marie Longo is excited to bring a passion for the performing arts and more than 25 years of nonprofit development experience to SpeakEasy Stage. She currently serves as Senior Director of Development and External Relations at the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University. Before that, she was Chief Advancement Officer at Walnut Hill School for the Arts. While in Washington, DC, she worked for Studio Theater, Arena Stage and The Shakespeare Theater Company, and served as a Helen Hayes Awards nominator. Longo graduated from Dartmouth College and earned an MA in Arts Management from American University. She is a classically trained pianist, “retired” amateur thespian, and occasional chorus member. A resident of Newton since 2003, Longo and her wife are the parents of two young adults and two rescue dogs.
