Kat is an NYC-based lighting designer for theatre, dance, and opera. She is delighted to return to SpeakEasy, having previously designed BLKS, for which she received an Elliot Norton Award. Recent Boston-area credits: The Chinese Lady (Central Square Theater); Mr. Fullerton, Between the Sheets (Gloucester Stage); and X: The Life and Times of Malcolm X (BMOP/Odyssey Opera). Other recent credits: How to Catch Creation (Juilliard); Little Women (Perseverance Theater); and The Butcher Boy (Irish Repertory Theatre). They hold an MFA in Lighting Design from Boston University and an AB in Mathematics from Harvard College. More info: katzhoudesign.com. (she/they)
