David Brown is a familiar face to the non-profit world in the Boston Area. Over the past 25 years, David has raised over $50,000,000 as an auctioneer / Fund-A-Need Ambassador for organizations such as Caritas Communities, Boston Medical Center, Tufts Medical Center, PFLAG of Greater Boston, and Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center.
David is a familiar face to many in the Boston area as a meteorologist, anchor, and reporter for WCVB-TV and is recognized as a passionate community service spokesperson. After a 27-year career in front of the camera, David pivoted to full-time non-profit work, first as Chief Advancement Officer at various non-profits, including the Massachusetts Association for Blind & Visually Impaired and the Cam Neely Foundation. David lives in Boston with his husband, Ben, and is a proud father of 3 young adults.
