Jane Siegel

Jane Siegel

Jane Siegel  moved to the South End in Boston with her husband and two daughters fifty- three years ago, choosing to live in a beautiful, diverse community. While gentrification has lessened the diversity, the cultural scene, particularly theater, has exploded, particularly with the establishment of the Center for the Arts. The SpeakEasy Theater had remained true to presenting exceptional theater representing a wide range of voices. Jane has a BA and MA in Social Work from the University of Chicago, and spent most of her career as a Juvenile Court Clinician in Middlesex County and as a faculty advisor for the BU School of Social Work. She and her husband are active in the South End Seniors and the Ward 4 Democratic Committee. Jane has a small antique business and does Bed and Breakfast in their home. It has been a pleasure to host many of the talented actors and staff of SpeakEasy productions. She looks forward to fostering relationships between the SpeakEasy Theater and the community, to the great benefit of both.
