Based on the classic film of the same name, this soaring musical sweeps you away to Italy for a captivating tale of passion and fate. It’s the summer of 1953 and the wife of an American businessman is traveling the Tuscan countryside with her daughter. When a handsome Florentine catches her daughter’s eye, the woman tries in vain to keep them apart. Hiding a dark secret that will surely test their love, she must consider not only her daughter’s future, but her own hopes as well.

2008 Tony Nominee - Best Play!
THE SEAFARER
By Conor McPherson,
Directed by Carmel O’Reilly

Nov. 14 - Dec. 13, 2008

At times hilarious and chilling, The Seafarer weaves a mythic tale of the sea, Ireland, and redemption.
On Christmas Eve in North Dublin, Sharky Harkin finds himself reluctantly hosting old friends at the dingy house he shares with his brother who has recently gone blind. A lot of booze and card-playing carry the men into Christmas Day when Sharky must face the grim promise he made decades ago to one of these old friends.

NEW CENTURY
By Paul Rudnick

Jan.16 - Feb 14, 2009

From comic mastermind Paul Rudnick, author of Jeffrey, The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, and the film “In & Out,” comes this hilarious collection of short plays that touch on gay life in the new millennium.   A wealthy Jewish matron with at least three gay children, a flamboyant public access TV host and a Midwestern scrapbooker/competitive cake decorator each have their say in this outrageous comedy in which “the one-liners fly like rockets, and hit their targets smoking.”  (New York Times)

Contains Nudity and Adult Language.

2007 Olivier Award – Best New Play!
BLACKBIRD
By David Harrower,
Directed by David R. Gammons

Feb. 20 – March 21, 2009

Two people who once had a passionate affair meet again fifteen years later in this gripping drama that has left audiences breathless in both London and New York. Guilt, rage and raw emotions run high as the pair recall their relationship and attempt to come to terms with the shattering truth of their abandoned love.

Recommended for mature audiences.

The London Sensation!
JERRY SPRINGER - THE OPERA
Music by Richard Thomas, Book and Lyrics by Stewart Lee & Richard Thomas
Directed by Paul Daigneault

May 1- May 30, 2009

The only work in history to earn “Best Musical” honors from all the major British award groups, Jerry Springer: The Opera is a fascinating mix of the high art and low culture. At times hilarious and heartbreaking, the show presents a series of unusual characters who each are desperate for “their Jerry Springer moment.”

Recommended for mature audiences.

Season Bonus!
THE WRESTLING PATIENT
By Kirk Lynn in collaboration with Anne Gottlieb and Katie Pearl
Directed by Katie Pearl
